Big Band Saturday Night: Ella & Louis

The Forte Big Band backs up two great singers, Alva Anderson and Charlton Singleton performing some of Ella Fitzgerald's and Louis Armstrong's most beloved songs. Alva makes regular appearances all over Charleston performing with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra and on the Forte Jazz Lounge Stage. Charlton is a founding member of the two time Grammy winning Ranky Tanky. Charlton not only has great singing chops but is nationally known as a talented jazz trumpeter. These two will light up the stage while the Forte Big Band swings hard under the direction of Frank Duvall.
